Unhappy Not agian - September 4th 2009, 10:39 PM

I was bullied all through elementry school. I'm now a junior in high school. And now I'm getting thing thrown at me everyday now for two days I didn't want to say anything the first day because I thought it was my imagitation. But anyways today at lunch I was sitting by myself and someone was throwing fries at me. When I turned around I saw no one throwing or even laughing. So what to you think I should do? Like I said before I was picked on a lot and I know that it's not right. Thank you for your advise in advanced.

Well Meg if this keeps occuring, I suggest talking to your headmaster, Or someone with authority. It is stated in all student hand books that bullying of any sort will not be tollerated. So the school has to do something about it.

Would it be worth to talk to my counselor about it?

I suggest you don't eat near where the people are throwing stuff at you.
Or maybe you got some friends you could sit with?
Bullies target people who aren't with anyone else, because that means no one will gang up on them or be mad but you.
Just hold your head high! =)
And as the_unnamed said, talk to someone with higher authority. It's best to stop this now before it gets out of hand.
Good luck!

I sit with people, but their not really my friends. I can't switch lunch periods. But it's been two days now with no fries hitting me.

Hey Meg I'm sorry I'm a little late getting back to you on this, but I'm very glad to hear that things seem to be going okay for you!
It can be areally upsetting, starting school and seeming to be the victim of a childish prank like this! I do understand how scary it can be, and you've done really well in how you've handled this.

If somethingss upsetting you, or ever making you feel nervous to that extent, I'd really advise just chatting about it to someone; a close friend, or a teacher you trust. While it might not sort everything out immediatly, at least people know it's going on, and can keep an eye out for you!

Feel free to keep us updated on how your doing, and you know where we are if you need any more advice! Your also more then welcome to drop me a PM; I'd be happy to help if you ever needed it.

Best of luck ,and take care of yourself!
Jess x
