Re: cheer trouble - January 14th 2010, 05:43 PM

Hey theree.

I know how you're feeling right now. I'm 5'8, and 14, so larger then alot of people. But that doesn't change who I really am. And it doesn't change who you are.

People make jokes about something different. But being different doesn't make you wrong. It makes them ignorant. If you want to cheer, then go for it. It's your decision, and if it's something you're good at and enjoy, who are they to change you're mind about it?

Talk to someone about it. It doesn't have to be a teacher; just a freind, or even posting here. Having a rant about things helps you to sort out your head and work out what you want to do! Stick at it, and as hard as it is, try not to let it get to you. If you don't react, then they soon get bored!

Good luck 'kay? Take good care of yourself. Best of luck with everything, and you know where to find us if you need too. PM me anytime xx

Ignore them and go on with your life. Such people may be cruel but you shouldn't let them make you cry. Its your life, be happy and don't be afraid.

I know a few people who are big in size and ALWAYS get fat jokes everytime. I just would advise you to ignore them and move on with your life. Don't let the rude people get to ya. It's your life, be happy and not scared.

They make fun of you because you are different. By everybody making fun of one guy, everybody is united in their hatred/cruel joke. People become friends like that. Remember the saying "the enemy of your enemy is your friend" ? Same idea.

Try to ignore these guys. Do you truly accept yourself? If not, start to caoch yourself everyday to like yourself. The impact should be lessened once you don't compare yourself out of jealousy. If you truly hate your form, do some walking. Walk up and down the stairs everyday and withing 2 months, you'll got skinnier by a lot. Worked for me.

Maybe you should resort to "accidents." Next time somebody says a joke about your size, bulldoze them down! "Accidentally trip" onto him "several times" until he has nightmares and won't say anything anymore!

Lastly, ask your friends to help out. They should stick up for you. There is strength in numbers, after all.

I hope I was helpful. Wish you the best.

put it this way.... they are complete screw-wits that have no sensitivity towards people's feelings whatsoever. to tell you the truth these people who are making jokes about all that are probably just trying to get to your head. either that or they are jealous .. ignore them, and remember that you're a better person than they ever will be.

stay strong and remember..words are just words.. what counts is that you are happy with what you are doing

Hello, (hey its my first appearance here)

Right! Bullies want a reaction out of you, so a good idea, is to give them a reaction! But not the one they want.

Bullies like to exagerate any tiny little flaw you might have, purely to make you unhappy. So a bully won't make any more fat jokes, if those jokes make you happy.
So all you gotta do is:

A) After they make a joke, laugh, pretend that you find it funny as if your not taking it seriously, like you don't care in the slightest about your looks. After all why would someone bully you if they know it makes you laugh. (if they ask why. say its funny. Ignorant answers work best for this kind of thing)

B) Come up with a come back which makes it seem like your proud of your size... hmm such as... AHA! "I like my size it makes me more cuddly!" (I'm not making that up either though, its actually true)

I know it might seem a little hard, but being happy and always always keeping a smile on your face is the best way to stop bullying. Don't drop your guard for a second, even if they insult you.

-smiling is the best make up, use it!

I don't suggest you use smiling as a makeup. I suggest you be happy with yourself and be happy with your life and forget these guys. Live your life, be happy, ignore them, forget them. Simple.

Re: cheer trouble - January 20th 2010, 12:18 AM

List up here! Aside from those assholes joking about your weight youíve got to do this for yourself. I completely understand what your going through and believe me some people can be nasty. But in the end the reason your doing this is for yourself.

Iím so pleased to hear you havenít given up, Youíve got to tune out those assholes and just keep your game face on. In the end the only person you have to impress is yourself.
