I'm pretty sure a lot of people know of the wonderful site formspring. You can access it on facebook or twitter or just go on. It's a site where people anonymously ask you questions that you can answer and post. Typically only people on your facebook or twitter can access this and ask you questions.

It sounds lovely.. but it's not. People constantly use formspring to bicker at people. Not just me, at everybody. People use it to anonymously tell people they are "sluts" or "b****es". I really didn't think I had anything to worry about because in general I have lots of friends and people care about me. I didn't really think that there'd be much of a problem.

Then I get a bunch of "ur ugly" comments. I didn't really care cause it's anonymous and in all honesty their opinion doesn't mean crap to me. But then they started to get really harsh. It's COMPLETELY and 100% anonymous so there's so no way to tell who it is that's saying this stuff. But I've been told that the entire school talks crap on me .. and I don't get why. I was told, "You wouldn't believe the number of people who wish you were in your grave." It absolutely devastated me. I deleted my formspring but I'm still so sick of it all. It doesn't make sense why people would go after me like that when I did nothing to them! Luckily I have a really close friend who told me to walk to his house and he made me feel a little better. But I can't stop thinking about it. What if it's true? I'm worried to go back to school.. I don't want to go. ): I'm really scared and now I'm going to be extra paranoid and UGH. I know people who have committed suicide from harsh anonymous formsprings. =/ And I'm slowly being pushed over the edge.. What can I do besides "just ignore it"???

People who hide behind anonymous sites like that are just cowardly! I know it's easy for me to say, but people like that aren't worth your time and energy. You seem to have some great friends and that's all that counts. If people want to spend their time sending nasty comments from behind their computer screens, well that's a bit sad of them really isn't it if they have nothing better to do.

Well you've deleted your formspring, so yeah proabably a good idea but.. 2 things you should know.

1. There was only one person who sent those messages. So its likely that they're the only one who hates you, and wants to make you feel bad
2. point 1 is exactly why this persons anoyomous. Its because they know they're the only one who hates you. whoever he/she/...it-.- is, there oblivious scared about how much bullying they'll have done to them, If his/hers/its identity was revealed... Why?

Because there the only one who hates you.

besides, you've already stopped them from bullying you, it should stop that you've deleted your formspring.
Give it some time and you'll forget about it.
I'd bet you anything that all of these messages are from the bitching idiot.
Don't let yourself be hurt by a lonely cyber bully. Just give yourself some time to get over the idea. You would know if it was true.

I think that deleting your formspring would be a very wise choice. I've had problems of my own with formspring (I don't nor have I ever had one, but quite a few people who I had a disagreement with are under the impression that I spam their walls with mean things when really I have never posted anything on anybodys formspring... ever...) anyway, I digress, formspring is just not a good website. It sucks for self esteem and it should be taken off the internet all together.

I know how it feels to have people say mean things about you. It sucks, believe me, but it helps to know that people feel exactly the same way you do. I have had people make fun of me for multiple things, and I have learned to cope with it.

If music could help you, I know a whole bunch of songs that I listen to when I need that extra boost. Lots of Demi Lovato songs work for me, especially Believe in Me.

And don't let anybody tell you that people want to "see you in your grave" because that I can PROMISE YOU is entirely untrue. It's not right for anybody to be able to say that to somebody, and don't ever believe it. Go to school with your head held high, take a deep breath, and smile. It'll all be okay in the end, I promise.

People may talk crap at school about you not necessarily because they truly hate you but because of groupthink, where one or two people truly believe and say something, then the rest follow because it becomes the norm and they want to fit in. As they think about it, it may actually change their views so they do dislike you but for no reason. They're the followers who are just in it for the ride. Those who give you the harsh comments and wanting to see you in your grave, they may be the same cowardly people who gave the rude comments on formspring. They're inconsequential and giving attention to them is a waste of energy and time.

Hey there. I know how you feel. On formspring someone basically harassed me verbally for liking girls and said a whole bunch of other horrible things anonymous. I tried not to let it bother me but i know that doesn't always work. Remember and tell yourself if they are hiding behind and anonymous to say these things they are too coward to say it to your face. Formspring is a place where people are just RUDE.
half the people don't even mean what they say about you, they are just saying it to make you upset.
i think the best thing to do is just go to school and still be yourself.
let everyone know that you don't care what they think and that you're better without their opinion of you, and that they only make you stronger.

when people are rude to you, let it raise your self-esteem.
that's what i do.
when people say rude things about me,
i just love myself even more than i did before because i know that i have a big enough heart to not want to hurt people.
it makes me realize how much nicer i am than some other people.

I now remember why I just dont ever use any of that sort of shit lol. I dont even use facebook, got an account but that's it. I never check it unless I get an email that I have an invite or a private message from an added friend or something like it.


And... I doubt your whole school hates you. Anyone can say that. Most little pretence friend groupies have their own people that they've singled out to bully... and usually stick to their own yeargroup. If someone just lies to you saying that ur whole school hates u, I wouldnt even believe them if they said ur own class hates u. Its made up bullshit and stupid games.
