Is anyone a friend?

Alright, here's my story:
I've had clinical depression for a number of years, as well as being anorexic & I started cutting myself a couple months ago.
Basically the story of my freshman year:
I met some people, they were shitty people but other ppl I liked worshipped at their feet. The girl's exboyfriend asked me out, starting all this crap.
This happened last OCTOBER, it's June now. Basically what happened is that this girl became verbally and physically abusive, and after a little less than two months later I dumped her.
Rumors have been spread, rumors that I was pregnant, that I've had sex with my boyfriend (who's a junior) I've had sex with a good friend of his, also a junior, I stole my boyfriend from this girl, blah blah blah.
People have come up to me screaming/emailed me/called calling me a whore & a bitch, etc.
I can handle this. But the problem is this girl wouldn't leave my friends alone. I've literally held my friends while they cried about these people. And after a while, they started blaming me for everything she's done. They've told me I was trying to force them to choose while I was the one telling them that I wasn't going to like their friendships with her but I wasn't planning on saying anything, it's not their problem.
Several times when I was feeling suicidal, they yelled at me & told me I was bitch, I was a drama queen, & I needed to 'get over it.' Once I told Devin, supposedly my best friend, I was going to kill myself that night. She said: "Haha go ahead I really don't care. Goodnight."
I've broken up with my boyfriend & started going out with another guy. He is now hanging out with them constantly, today twice he walked away from me to go hang out with them. I was at my locker today with them across the hall talking, I looked over & saw Devin staring at me and laughing.
I don't know what to think, what to do, and what the hell is wrong with a world where people can be emotionally tortured this way and no one cares.

Yeah unfortunatly there are some really useless people OuT there. I mean I care for my friends and even for people who i barely know. It can get a little annoying because no ones as mentally strong as me. But i never say it.

Don't worry, If you concentrate your studies, get a great job! and you can search the world for people who are actually going to give a damn.
Remember that you are your own person. No can tell you otherwise! YOU are in control! You don't need to care about people who don't care about you. Just toss them aside and forget about them.

Now that thats done, onto the plan! A plan is the best way to organised success, Firstly, you need to find yourself someone who can help you. Research the psychiatrists and what not in your area.
Secondly start "experimenting" with these bullies, try different things to get them to stop and never give in.
Firstly, i'd try reporting them. see what that does.

I know it's hard to deal with, the rumors and other stuff, but I'd do what the previous poster mentioned and try at reporting them. If you have any copies of emails, chats or other info, use that to prove your point and get help for this situation.

I think that if you call these people friends who do you call enemies. Me, I would die for my friends, no matter if I meet them over the iternet of not, but my friends are everything to me. The bible says quoted to have friends a man must show himself friendly. I would have told the girl who is supposed to be your "best friend"after she told me go ahead and kill myself to go, get out of my life,and your boyfriend is hearing all those things about you,I would dump him,I'm here if you ever need to talk, my email
