I don't think she's meaning to upset you, she's probably just frustrated she lost her job. Maybe offer to help her find a new one or offer to put a good word in with your boss. If she doesn't appreciate that help then it's probably best to just ignore her.

It doesn't seem like bullying to me just yet. Bullying is usually something that happens more than once, and it's usually intended to be hurtful in some way.

What she said can be considered hurtful, but I think she was probably just blowing steam off due to her being upset with herself for being fired. It's never too nice to be on either ends of such things, so I'd just ignore what she said. You probably won't get in trouble for it.

She is jealous. Jealousy is a natural human emotion and people should learn to not act on jealousy but some may anyway. In this case were your friend is unable to control her emotion you should step in and help.

Remind her about all the important things that she has done and the chances that she will have in the future. Be modest, don't talk about your success to her.

After this she'll feel much more relaxed and your friendship as good as it ever was.

Like everyone said above, I don't consider this to be bullying. Though, it is rather unpleasant to hear, no doubt. If she were to continue this with the intension of simply ruining your life, then it would be stepping onto the grounds of bullying. Never the less, she shouldn't be taking out her frustration on you. Friends are great to have, but, there are limits. Being beaten up because you have a job while your friend lost hers, isn't something you need to sit there and take. Try not to let it bother you and if she continues, try sticking up for yourself. I'm not suggesting to be rude. If she is your friend, she will listen to what you have to say and contemplate before she continues. Just let her know that you're there for her, but she doesn't need to take her anger out on you. Good luck with this. I hope things work out for the best.

It seems she's a bit annoyed and jealous but nothing seems like it's bullying. It should die over with time.
