So there's this group of kids, they're sort of like the 'cool' kids I guess you could say... I mean, like, they're all good looking and kind of held in high regards, I mean, my school doesn't really have 'popular' kids but if we did, they would be them. I'm always afraid they're talking about me or making fun of me... I'm the only trans kid in my school and one of them wrote on my formspring [anonymous website] that I was like really cool and whatever... but then some other people I heard saying that he's like really mean and was probably being sarcastic. Then I did one of those "Like this and I'll tell you why I like you, why I hate you, if I'd date you, what I'd rate you" things, and one of those girls liked my status, and some of their friend wrote sarcastic comments about how cool it was and whatever. I mean... maybe I'm misunderstanding them, maybe they're really trying to hurt me or something... b ut I can't help but be really paranoid, I don't know... :|

This is a normal problem, don't feel weird about it.
As you explained to me it seems like they are giving you mixed singles if they like you or not. i would suggest you to go talk to them. what have you got to lose? and you will never find out unless you go speak with them and discuss it with them. if you don't want to do it alone, you could bring a teacher in it. but i would reckon it's best to start off with talking to them alone :')
