Finally, a parent of bullies who didn't stick his head in the sand, if only more parents would do this.

The father of the bully obviously wasn't putting up with what his kid was doing to others. I agree with Kate. More parents should be stopping their children from bullying and hurting others.

If he's really this tough on bullying I only wonder how his kids became that bad in the first place.

If you've got some spare time, read this:

But don't if you're easily triggered. If you're not easily triggered then go ahead.

Good good. I'm really happy about this, bullying should NEVER be tolerated.

Re: DAD has HIS KIDS arrested for BULLYING - March 22nd 2011, 05:06 PM

I think, personally, it was a bit harsh. In the long run, yes, it was the right thing to do. Maybe talking to the kid before having the cops called was a better choice. Yes, it shows the kid that bullying isn't allowed, but still. The kid may just need therapy because he is having his own problems. I am not trying to be mean or criticize the father. I am just trying to bring a bit of light on the situation. Resorting to calling the cops is a bit extreme.

I mean look at me. I'm a lot different then I was years ago. I used to steal from my parents. They sent me to an emotional growth boarding school helped me. Maybe counseling might have been the more peaceful and better answer.

He could've also done that, but they broke the victim's jaw, they should get emotional help and support if needed, but they also need to be held accountable for their actions.

I'm sorry, but that was in NO way harsh. They broke the kids jaw for crying out loud! Its not as if it was some petty name calling or a few light punches.

I totally agree with what the dad done, fair play

Sorry about that. The article wouldn't load, so I kinda went off of what I was reading on this page. Just bullying that would be drastic, but breaking the kids jaw?! What the hell is up with those kids?!

That... is one of the best examples of parenting I've seen in ages.

I thought about you for the rest of the day.
Catching my head turning to find you again.
I hated myself for it.

If I EVER caught my child bullying someone else I would make them apologize to the victim, ground them and take a few stuff off them. If they broke the other person's jaw I'd call the police also.
