What should I do? - May 20th 2011, 04:12 AM

Yesterday (5/18) I was in the cafeteria and a girl cam up behind me and pushed me into the brick wall. My wrist is sprained because of her doing this. She has been treating me like this all year. I've reported it to the teachers but they don't do anything. Any advice on what I should do?

Hi there,

I'm sorry you're having a tough time at school, and it is awful to hear that you've been physically bullied. If the teacher's don't seem to do anything about the bullying, ask your parents to contact the school. I'd recommend changing schools if your school continues to let it happen; if this is the case, I'd encourage you to contact the police who WILL do something about the bullying.

If you need anything at all, you are always welcome to PM and VM me anytime.
Take Care.

ditto what lex said really, She's got it pritty much spot on from my understanding. However I dont belive that changing school's is the best way to deal with it, because thats as it were given the bullies what they want-wich ultimatly will be to make you hate yourself or to get rid of you. Leaving the school's like saying "you've won" to them, do you really want to tell them this?
Therfore I think you should try other people first, how about talking to another teacher or a close friend? (if you have any) Also, check your school's anti bullying policy, this is the best way to find out specificly how you should deal with it in your school.

Finally remember: Im here to help, just ask me to and
"When the sky is at it's darkest is when you can see the stars" Use this to inspire you, and know that when it get's realy tough, stars will come out to meet you.

Like the others said, if the teacher doesn't seem to care you can always tell the priniciple, or have your parents file a complaint againste the school. Another option you can do is press charges on the girl because no matter if it was intended or not when she pushed you and you got a sprained wrist that is consider assault. Hope it gets better.

I don't mean to joke, but is your forum name somewhat connected with a hobby of yours? If it is then I think it's a good time to put it to practical use. And I'm serious.

If you've got some spare time, read this:

But don't if you're easily triggered. If you're not easily triggered then go ahead.

Talk to your parents or the administration. That sucks that so far the teachers haven't done anything yet. :\ Sometimes, the school will work against you, but you can't continue to be bullied like this.
Stay strong, PM me if you ever need. <3

Have you been to the school governors/committee it might be an idea to go to them as the school governors are higher up than teachers. you could report it to the police and let them know. also it might be an idea to keep a log of each time something like this happens so you have some evidence to back you up. keep telling till someone listens.

the girl who always seemed unbreakble finally
BROKE
the girl who seemed strong
CRUMBLED
the girl who always laughed
CRIED
the girl who never stopped trying finally
GAVE UP

she let her fake smile fade and as she did a tear rolled down her cheek and she whispered

' i can't do this anymore'
