Okay, so my whole life i've always worried about almost everything. When I was little I would worry so much that I missed alot of school. Once I got older it stopped and I didn't get so anxious about things. But in the past couple years its gotten worse. I over-think things way too much. I worry about almost everything. I have to sleep with the t.v on every night so that I won't think too much otherwise I can't sleep. I barely sleep anyways because of it. Some days i'll think positive about things and others I will just worry. I get this feeling in my body like I just want to run away from myself and my heart will start beating fast. There have been a few times where I have almost gotten sick. Most the time I have no appetite and have gone down to 100lbs. I'm tired of feeling this way half the time. I've never talked to a doctor of anyone about it. I want to be able to relax about things but I just can't seem to be able to. Should I go see someone about it?
6 So be truly glad. There is wonderful joy ahead, even though you have to endure many trials for a little while. 7 These trials will show that your faith is genuine. It is being tested as fire tests and purifies gold—though your faith is far more precious than mere gold. So when your faith remains strong through many trials, it will bring you much praise and glory and honor on the day when Jesus Christ is revealed to the whole world. 1Peter 1:6-7 (NLT) |

Going to a doctor definitely seems like the smart choice. The bottom line is, you're not happy, and something needs to change, so going to see a doctor is the best way to go about that.
Good luck! Nothing in the world is the way it ought to be. It's harsh, and cruel. But that's why there's us - champions. Doesn't matter where we come from, what we've done or suffered, or even if we make a difference. We live as though the world is as it should be, to show it what it can be. |

I agree with Francesca, go and see your Doctor. I was in a similar situation this time last year and talking to a Psychologist definitely helped. After six sessions, i went from severe anxiety to normal. Obviously there's been days where the anxiety has come back, but a psychologist can help you to recognise the signs and know how to deal with it quickly and effectively.
Good Luck. Aisling xx Just kiss me. ![]() |

I agree with the above people, the smart thing to do would be to see a doctor. I can relate a lot with your situation a few months ago I developed Health Anxiety, and I couldn't sleep, watch TV shows with doctors or health issues, I didn't want to eat and I was just generally going crazy with worry. I went to the doctor and I generally felt better just talking to them, and they gave me some medication to try and have with me incase I go into serious anxiety attacks like I have a few times. I barely even have to take the medication it's just such a reassurance to have them. I feel a lot better and more normal now, and this is something you deserve to feel yourself. There are so many options for treating anxiety, so chances are they will find what's right for you so you can go back to living a normal life and being happy again. Good Luck!
