Hey there,
I'm sorry to hear that you have been feeling very scared and/or sad lately and that those emotions have been making you feel compulsed to do what you describe as 'stupid' things. If you're feeling anxious, it's not unusual to panic or feel upset. However, when you begin to get compulsive or dangerous thoughts then it is important to try and treat or get help with what you're suffering from. It's good that you have identified that you're struggling with as that means you can get help with overcoming this. It is a better idea to try and treat your anxiety rather than your actions, as the action is most probably a result of the primary feeling. It is important to think rationally whenever you are anxious and to assess the situation rationally. Try to take deep breaths and think the situation through. Talking to someone about how you're feeling may also help to alleviate any negative thoughts or fealing. Take care. |

Hey Blue!
I think this is probably caused simply by anxiety, and not being able to think straight in a stressful situation. A lot of us can't really focus, rationalize, and make sense of situations like that, though some with anxiety like disorders have it rougher than others. I think the best advice I can give you is to simply try and keep control over yourself and your mind. If a situation you're in starts to seem stressful, then try to ease it a little. Focus on your breathing if it helps, just take a step back from the situation and focus on that, breathing in and breathing out. If you can, try taking a step back from the situation completely, within limits of course. Simply running away will not solve anything, but asking the teacher if you can use the bathroom in class or going outside for a quick breath of fresh air. If there is anyone around you can talk to at the time, then certainly do that as well. Simply explain to them that you're feeling stressed out and like you could have a little anxiety attack. All in all though, I still think you should try to talk to some sort of doctor about this stuff, because you don't deserve to have to deal with it. ![]() Take me seriously. I dare you. |
