why does this happen?

I was just wondering why I have panic attacks. I hate them they scare me. The other night I woke up crying which caused myself to freak out even more which caused me to go into a panic attack. It was the worst attack that I have had, it lasted 45 minutes.
I don't know how to make them stop. I don't want to have them anymore.

Ive been struggling with panic attacks over the past eighteen months or so. My psych told me i have social phobia, but that also its just a re-action because of everything thats happend.

I would start by feel hot, and start hyperventalating, ive thrown up and ive passed out in them. The hole tingling sensation thats runs through your body. School had to call an ambulance once, so i know how scary it can be.

If you talk to your doctor, they may be able to help you and might refer you to councilling but only if needed. In the mean time you just have to take deep breathes when you feel one coming on. You have to remind yourself that they are not going to hurt you and you will soon get past it.
