Anxiety about always needing the toilet -
October 14th 2010, 02:12 PM
Ive recently started at university and i thought i would try to make a clean break and move away from all my previous anxiety worries ive always ad about always needing the toilet, especially at inapropriate times (i.e during classes, being out when there isnt one near) Its a problem ive had for about 10 years and its when i know i cant go it makes me need to go and i can control it at times if im in a comfortable situation, if i know the lecture isnt long or something or if im by the door or something, but i dont know how to get rid of this problem for good. Ive tried everything, therapy, medication, trying to relax yet nothing seems to work. I dont want to have to keep leaving lectures or anything because of missing work. Its a problem that has literally controlled my life for so long now. I just dont know what to do anymore.
