Social Anxiety Disorder. - November 11th 2010, 05:46 PM

Can anyone give me some information on this? I have a strange suspicion that I have something 'wrong' with me under this sort of category. I can get very anxious around loads of people, or even a lesser amount of people but if I don't know them. But sometimes I'm okay with it, I just don't know.

I've never really mentioned anything about this sort of thing before. But I think this needs looking into because it's starting to affect my life. I don't really know what I'm asking for here. Just some info I suppose. Support and advice?

Cheers chums.

Well, there are various degrees of anxiety, and different types.

I have Social Anxiety, and I try to avoid the phone (contacting things I need by e-mail), I'm scared by strangers, scared when I'm unsure of a situation, scared by parties, scared of many social situations.
