What are you afraid of?

Lets challanmge our fears and accept them!
I'm afraid of snakes and spiders O_O
I also dislike elbows.
I'm , erm, afaid of the dark :S
I always feel like there is somethiing hiding in the dark , like I have to run if I go tothe bathroom at night Also if I wake during the night , I have to keep my eyes closed incase there is something watching me and I geta a heart attack from shock of seeing a face in the dark.

Well, there are a lot of things I find myself feeling fear toward. Spiders, thunderstorms, the dark, heights, enclosed spaces, etc. For the most part, they are utterly illogical. Lately I've realized that I'm only scared because I want to be and I need to just not let myself be scared, unless it's logical, and then I can transform the fear into prudence.

And honestly, what is there to be scared of? The worst anything can do to you is cause you pain or kill you. If it causes you pain, whether physical or emotional, that's just temporary like everything and you'll be okay. And dying isn't something I'm afraid of. Do I want it? Not at all. But I'm not afraid to die.

So, yeah, there was my totally rambling, off-topic answer

I'm scared of being alone overnight in a house. I worry that someone's going to break in or there'll be a fire and I won't be able to get out or I'll injure myself and no one will find me until it's too late.

I'm also scared of people I care about being hurt. Like, my Dad works nights and when it was snowing last week I was scared he might crash his car or something because of the ice

They're the main things I'm scared of but a lot of other stuff makes me anxious.

spiders, large crowds of people, large dogs, snakes, loud music, people looking at me for no reason, talking to new people, talking on the phone, eating fish (when it dead and cooked on my plate), thunder storms, water getting on my face in the shower / in the bath (i get scared i will drown ), people choking, fish bones, walking when its dark, being home alone (i notice noises more and get freaked out and think someone is my house), people shouting. theres others too but it would take me to long to list them all.

Claustrophobic. Not that I can't stand being in a small space if it's not for a long amount of time, but the idea of being trapped in one, or being trapped in one in a weird or suffocating position like being upside down, freaks the hell out of me.

Aeroacrophobia [Fear of unenclosed heights.]
Arachnophobia [Fear of spiders.] Quite common, but I'm super strange and fear the small ones greatly more than the larger ones.
Atychiphobia [Fear of Failure...] This one affects me the most.
Catapedaphobia [Fear of jumping off high or low things.]
Kakorrhaphiophobia [Fear of Failure OR defeat] So it's the same as Atychiphobia, except adding on the defeat part, which is why this is on here.
Katagelophobia [Fear of being disliked.] Ugh. Another severe one for me.
Odontophobia [Fear of dental surgery.]
And lastly,
Social Phobia [Fear of being evaluated negatively in public.] Different from Katagelophobia. Katagelophobia is the socializing aspect, while Social Phobia is simply being in public, and secretly being judged... Not necessarily disliked, but thought of negatively.

I am afraid of heights and being afraid. I'm afraid of crying in front of my friends and/or family. (Grown up that crying is a sign of weakness and cowardice) I can't STAND being in suffocating crowds unless one of my friends are with me. I'm also afraid of being alone for the rest of my life and I'm afraid that someone I care about will get hurt because of me.

Nothing makes me feel as scared and upset as they do. It's weird because they're probably just as scared of me as I am of them but I can't help but be absolutely terrified of them and it only gets worse.

I'm not afraid of dying, I'm not afraid of pain. I'm not afraid of being generally disliked or ill perceived, nor of being different or abnormal.

I am, however, extremely afraid of being alone. Not like, for an hour, I mean in life in general. Of something happening to the ones I love, of them waking up one day and realizing I'm not worth their effort. I don't really care of strangers don't like me but the thought of the people I love wanting nothing to do with me scares me.
I feel fear when my girlfriend doesn't tell me she loves me back or doesn't say it for a couple days; fear when I was in NYC with her yesterday and I lost track of her for only a few seconds...Maybe I worry too much, but I can't help it. I don't want anything to happen to my loved ones and I don't want them to abandon me; I fear both of those things and the latter always feel like a probable reality.

Snakes (but only when I'm not expecting them); heights; flying; deep water; choking, drowning, etc (ie not being able to breathe); hills; dolls (especially porcelain, or ones that move); enclosed spaces; driving a car; losing my memory; darkness.
