Anxiety Meds... -

Does anyone here take medication for anxiety? If so what kind of meds do you take? I am prescribed Valium 15mg extended release twice a day and then xanax 1mg as needed up to three times a day... it works but sometimes when I drive I feel drunk and have to pull over for a while...
What meds work for everyone else? |

The only psychological meds ive ever been on, were Prozac (for over a year, constantly upping the dosage), Topamax (mainly for migrains and the side effect of weight loss, but they used it as a mood stabalizer aswell..) and Effexor. Effexor helped my anxiety a lot. I was on 75 mg i believe.

I took Zoloft a few years ago. Never felt suicidal until I was on it. Took myself off.

I am currently taking Prozac 40MG and Xanax 0.5MG (as needed for anxiety). Xanax seems to be working a little, it makes me extremely tired when I take i though. (I haven't been on it long). The prozac doesnt seem to be helping with my anxiety
