Not sure what to call this

I am not sure where to put this so I am gonna put it here for now and it can be moved by mods if they think they need to move it. Anyhow, bear with me for this. Its kinda wierd and thats percicely why nobody knows about this. I haven't told ANYONE including my best friend who knows virtually everything about me. I am not quite sure how to explain it even...I guess you could say I have this thing about the sound of heartbeats. I have felt like this since I was little, maybe even a baby. The sound is sorta a turn on for me but it is also really soothing to me. I do not know why. Anyhow, my dad is a doctor and sometimes he brings his coat home and his steth. I used to steal it when nobody was looking (this could be even in the middle of the night) just to listen to my own heart. I would put it back in the exact same place I found it so nobody would know I took it. I know this is not a bad thing or anything but it seems wierd to me..I am kinda ashamed of it. I have not told anyone because I am afraid of what they would think of me or what they would say. I haven't heard of anything like this happening with other people. What do you guys think?

Some sounds can simply be soothing to someone, when in the womb the heartbeat sooths an infant and so when they are born, laying on mommies chest can be something they love to do and calms them down. I myself love the sound of a heartbeat as well. I very much enjoy laying near someone and resting my head on their chest and could lay like that forever. There's nothing wrong with it at all!

Definitely not odd and of course I understand completely!
