Anxiety making me extra clingy? -

So, because of my anxiety (which has been acting up really bad lately) I'm terrified to be alone. I'm also really scared to talk to people because of anxiety, so I usually am alone (awesome contradiction, huh?). I'm always thinking people hate me or are angry with me if we haven't talked in a while, even though I know rationally they're not upset at all. For example, I have a good friend who I haven't been able to hang out with lately because he's very busy with school and work. I asked him online if he was upset with me, just to make sure because I'm paranoid, and he said if I haven't given him a reason to be mad, then he isn't, and to stop asking him if he's angry.
I don't know. I just get really upset and scared that people are just going to up and leave me, and then it's all I can think about. How can I find a way to relax? |

Well in the back of your mind you know that they aren't really mad at you, so that's a good thing.
Also, try to think of why they would be mad at you. If you can think of anything then just relax. I think doing a hobby or taking a nice warm bath is very relaxing and soothing. And when I'm anxious it also helps to move around a lot, like exercise. Just a list of things that help me! Good luck! -Shelby |
