OCD? - October 14th 2011, 07:24 PM

I don't know what to do anymore. I was diagnosed with OCD years ago but i outgrew most of my obsessions/compulsions that i engaged in back then but now it seems that it is all in my head. Like i can't stop thinking and trying to find solutions to all of my questions/problems. It gets to the point where I spend hours contemplating this stuff and its making me unhappy! I also obsess about mistakes i've made, whether big or small and can't seem to justify myself for not being perfect. Please help someone! im going crazy!

If you've already been diagnosed with OCD, then I would just ask for a referral to someone who specializes in OCD/anxiety disorders. You could learn a few coping techniques for dealing with these obsessive/compulsive thoughts and thus relieve some or all of your anxiety. =)

That's the problem with OCD - it creeps up on you without you noticing and then BAM! it hits you.

The good thing is that because you've been diagnosed before, you should be able to get the illness under control quicker than if you hadn't.

Similar to what Robin said; I suggest you either go to your doctor and ask for a referral to a psychologist, or find one yourself.
