Staring. - January 28th 2012, 02:44 AM

I'm not sure if this fits here, but I find myself very Anxious when it happens...

Okay, lately I've felt like people (mostly girls) in my class have been staring at me, not just the look around the class room because your bored kind, but actual staring.

The first one I noticed: This girl that I don't really like staring at me, she didn't hide that she was staring at me at all. She wasn't sitting extremly close to me or anything, but... she made no effort to hide it, and I did something and she was like "HEH, (real name)!" in the middle of Sex Ed.

The second one I noticed (not sure if this was before or after first one): This really cute straight girl in my class, I kept finding her staring at me, and I was like "Weird." and then I kind of felt giddy, but had to remember that she's straight, so then I remember that I'm friends with her friend, and that I've come out to that friend, and talked about thinking she's cute. It wasn't like, one of those small oh, someone's staring at me once thing. I kept looking up and finding her staring at me.

The third one I noticed: This girl, who was sitting next to said cute straight girl, I was writing private things in my private notebook, and then I looked up and saw her staring and I was like "Embarrassing!" and then went back to what I was doing, then looked back up and found her starring a little while later.

I don't get what's happening, and it makes me anxious that my friend told them that I'm pansexual (The first one she probably wouldn't tell, because she hates her) and then I get anxious that others are staring at me.

I've said it once, I've said it twice, I've said it a thousand fucking times
That I'm OK, that I'm fine, that it's all just in my mind
But this has got the best of me, and I can't seem to sleep
It's not 'cause you're not with me, it's cause you never leave

I used to be really anxious all the time thinking people were staring at me. But half the time it was just my imagination and it could be the same with you. It could also just be a weird coincidence that you happened to look at each other at the same time? Maybe they thought/think you were staring at them? Don't worry yourself over it too much.

^^' Thanks. But at the same time, most of the time I was looking down, writing or thinking or reading, and I'd look up... ^^' Probably just paranoia...

I get the same. If someone stares i usually get really nervous and act like i'm doing something. Plus I sometimes can't talk to someone one on one and look them straight in the eye. Which is something I need to work on.
