I really wanted Barrichello to win that race because it was his home and he is such a nice guy. He was very unlucky with that puncture though.

I am happy for Button, I have always thought he was a nice guy during interviews in the past he just never got the chance to win and he didn't have a great car.

The race was really exciting too, there was fire and crashes and everything. It would be interesting to see what would have happened if all of those crashes didn't happen, I don't think Button wouldn't have got as high up in the points, he was very lucky that all of those crashes worked in his favour.

I though Trulli and Sutil's fight was hilarious too, considering it was Trulli's fault and he was the one kicking off.

It was great to see Massa back too He is one of my favourites.

Wooo!! Fellow enthusiast

Hmm know what you mean about Barrichello, his little boy sitting in the pits waiting for him, without that puncture, it'd have gone to next time haha, but at the end of the day Button diiid have a good race, even if it was a bit down to luck After a terrible qualifying!

Haha but agreed that race had it all :L Haha loved it!!

And Massa too! Yeah Barrichello had his name on his helmet in the early races after his accident didn't he? Fellow Brazillian and all, but yeah, its Glock whos got to come back now;

Timo was initially diagnosed with only a minor cut to his leg following his accident in qualifying for the Japanese Grand Prix, but subsequent medical checks in Germany have revealed a cracked vertebra. Doctors have therefore ruled him out of this weekend's race.

Yeah Barrichello had a get well message for Massa on his helmet. He felt guilty because it was his wheel that hit him too. It will be good to see him back next year with Alonso as a team mate.

Glock should be back for next year too.

I just wish that the championship went on to the last race, it is always more exciting that way. The next race now will be fairly boring because no one will be too bothered about winning.

I hope they fix the rules next year. They are talking about not allowing refuelling for next year, which will take the fun out of pit stops and this rule about no testing is annoying.

Oooh was it!? Didnt know that But yeah alongside Alonso, feel a bit sorry for him too Mind with him moving to Ferrari he'll get some wins in

It sucks such a non contact sport can put them out for so long lol, like in the moto gp too, Casey Stoners just come back after missing 3 or 4 races :/

Haha just a bit, its Dubais first year this year and I'm sure it'll be nice out there but everyone will just be sitting there like meh... Who cares! They should make it count for next years points now this years strictly over :L

Ooh I thought they'd fixed that refueling rule, but even if they have they'll still be pitting for tyres, but apparently itll make the cars 6 seconds or more slower a lap at the start!!!

Lotus starting too (Y) Well making a comeback but I don't ever remember them racing in F1

I'm actually really glad Button won the championship, I've been watching it ever since I was young because my dad's a huge fan and Button's always seemed to be a really nice guy who draws all the short straws.
I guess this year luck was just swinging his way.
TBH kudos to the fact that they get back into racing again, if it were me and I'd been in an accident like that, which could have potentially blinded/killed me I doubt I would have raced seriously like that again!
