Cool What's your schedule next year?! - May 16th 2012, 10:02 PM

So, I keep having to change my schedule because of the millions of things I do, which I absolutely love, but it can get quite chaotic. Basically, I'm asking, what's your school/work schedule for next year?

Mine (at this point)

School:
Human Sexuality (This time a family studies/Sociology one. Exciting for meh)
HIV/AIDS Science, Behavior and Society
Social Psychology
Statistics for Psychology Majors
Women Gender and Society

Then I'll be volunteering with three organizations at my school, along with possible volunteering at Planned Parenthood, I'm right now working on that.

Then I'm working for housing at my university full time, which hours will vary, but I'll be doing programming for my dormitory.

SO WHAT'S EVERYBODY DOING NEXT YEAR?

Your schedule is extremely busy. Lol. Mine seems as busy, but it's probably nowhere as full as yours. My classes are just hellish.

School:
Differential Equations
Linear Algebra
Fundamentals of Electrical Circuits I
Electricity, Magnetism & Fluids (Physics II)
Introduction to Programming in C
The History of Light (my humanities elective)

Outside of school work I'm the VP of our LGBTQA club, involved in multiple other LGBTQ-related clubs at the main campus of our university, volunteering at the pride center over here.
And I'm working as much as possible during the year. I'm an admissions ambassador.. one of those people that give tours of the school.

Re: What's your schedule next year?! - May 17th 2012, 06:20 PM

Starting grad school June 4th so
Summer semester

6/4-7/7 I'll have Life span development Monday Tuesday and Wednesday nights from 4:30-7 and also a web course called Research in Educational Services

7/9-8/11 I'll have Orientation to Clinical Mental Health Counseling on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday nights 4:30-7

I think I'm a little nuts I doubt I'll have time for anything other than eating, sleeping and working.
Fall Semester:

Introduction to Counseling and
Individual counseling procedures and then I'm trying to decide between
Groupwork in counseling, Career counseling or Principles of Measurement and Appraisal (only because there's one section of it in the spring on Saturday Morning) which I really don't want.

I'll have to take them all eventually I'm more or less trying to get the worst ones out of the way early so I can enjoy this at the end.

School (grade 10)
Highest english, highest socials, second highest math (foundations), Nuna (enviromental sciences), Art, Guitar... - After that I'm kind of sketchy, I chose these a month ago, but I do know that next year I will NOT be doing second language or this program that is kind of not really doing anything, that is "needed to graduate" but I can skip it because they mixed grade ten of that with TAPS.

After School:
YOUTH GROUPS! such as YAC, and HBSC (which I don't know what I'm suppose to be doing for that.) And hopefully next year some other things will die down. Hopefully they'll be improv and the "china classes".

I've said it once, I've said it twice, I've said it a thousand fucking times
That I'm OK, that I'm fine, that it's all just in my mind
But this has got the best of me, and I can't seem to sleep
It's not 'cause you're not with me, it's cause you never leave

Okay so look at an Indian student's 11th Grade schedule-

In school-
English
Physics
Chemistry
Biology
Math

Outside school. (This one is kinda like a second school, the only thing we do here is study to prepare for entrance exams to colleges after 12th grade.)

Physics
Chemistry
Botany
Zoology

So my schedule is, leave for school at 7am. Come back home at 2:15pm, leave for that outside school thingy (on Monday, Tue, Thurs and Fri) at 3:20pm. Come back by 8:15 pm. Cool, isn't it ?
I have tests every Monday ( in school) and Friday (Outside school). Whatever little time is left is spent on here.

Over the summer:
Physics I (mechanics)
Chemistry (calculus-based)
Multivariate Calculus
Analytical Writing
Swimming

I've got no absolute certainty about the courses I'm taking in the fall semester of my freshman year, but I'm guessing it'll look like this:
Multivariate Calculus (more rigorous, and just a tad more extensive)
Physics II - E&M
Linear Algebra
The Rise of Modern Science

I lucked out & got all of my classes on Mondays, Wednesdays, & Fridays. The classes I'm going to take are:
-Music appreciation
-Jesus & Christian community
-Space science
-Physiological psychology
-Psychology of personality

It's a Christian college, so the Jesus & Christian community class is pretty much required.
