wanting to work in the research field

I'm really set on working in the research field specifically on the research of venoms, because this greatly intrests me and I feel like we still have a lot to learn about venoms and uses we have for them. my thing is though i'm not completely sure what to do in college or where to start looking for careers in that.. I'm sure i'll have to get a Ph.D but Im not sure in what. I'm thinking go for a Major in Biology and minor in chemistry, with my main focus being in zoology and herpetolgoy, then as i get into graduate school moving into more of a focus on venoms and herpetology.

I think you should go for it! If that's what you love, then sure! Maybe do a little more research in what you should be going into? Seems like you could really make a difference in medicines and stuff. Good luck. xXx
