Good colleges? - September 7th 2013, 10:17 PM

I really want to get a BFA in musical theate (Or just theatre if musical theatre doesn't work out) I've been looking at some colleges lately, and will probably start to make some visits soon. (I'm a junior.) I was just wondering, are there any other good colleges out there for musical theatre/theatre?

I'm been looking at:
Ithaca College
Emerson College
Carnegie Mellon University
Boston Conservatory
AMDA
Point Park University
NYU (the Tisch School)
University of Wisconsin–Stevens Point (I know it's a little far from where I'd like to stay, but it looks good)

Are there any other good musical theatre schools? I'd prefer to stay in the east coast. Preferably New York. But I'd be willing to go really far if the school is really good. I want to stay in America though.

The school where I got my bachelor's has a music theater program, but I will warn you that it's kind of pricy and it would be out of state tuition for you.

Temple University has a fantastic musical theatre program. I know some people that go there and they love it. And my local theatre has a program in which the Temple kids stay for the summer and do two professional musicals and a play. It's pretty great.

Sorry I couldn't be there, I was tied to a rocking chair.
