Graduate school - November 25th 2015, 11:50 PM

So today , I was admitted to grad school in math after appealing my rejection. I had expected to go to grad school in fall 2015, but didn't get in because I lacked the senior level courses-math wasn't my undergrad study.Well I took the senior math course that I needed this semester and appealed my decision. I was hesitant about taking them initially since going to classes for a semester meant no full time job for at least 4 months. When I saw the email today that I got , I was half expecting it to be another "unfortunately the admissions committee has denied your application " , but instead, I got in. This was really good news to come home to after school right before the break. So , I should be starting in January.

It must have been an even better surprise since you were expecting a negative outcome. I'm really glad you got into graduate school. Congratulations.
