Deterministic Operations Research/Linear Programming - March 26th 2016, 11:47 PM

Has anyone ever been exposed to either of these math classes? If so, how demanding of your time were they?

Hey Michael,

I haven't been exposed to either of those classes, but having a quick glance online and, to me at least, it does sound quite complex.

Are you able to talk to a tutor or someone who is offering the classes? By the looks of it, online, you can take those courses at undergraduate and graduate level, so I imagine they would be somewhat demanding.

Sorry this isn't too helpful. Hoping someone else will see this and can help you out more though!

Hey, thanks for your input. After talking to some people I should be okay to load up with it. The deterministic part means that the randomness is taken out of the class and most of the functions you work with are linear in nature. The graduate level courses throw more random variables at you which make it more complicated. But it's supposed to be similar to linear algebra (not HS algebra, but the post calculus algebra).
