Question Switching schools! [ a few questions ] - January 19th 2009, 06:17 PM

I'm about to transfer to a different high school in my area, simply for the need to start over. However, we haven't spoken with the counselor yet because school was out today. I have a few questions. My school I'm at now is on the regular, 7 classes a day, 52 minutes classes, etc. This school is on that new block schedule. Will I still be able to go, even though I have half credit for my classes right now? How will that work out?

I cant think of a reason that you couldnt switch schools, but the school counselor should have all the answers to your questions. Ask them tomorrow.

Im pretty sure you can still switch schools. Last year i switched schools in march but I went to a charter/homeschool one. Some schools have diffrent credit reqerments.

Well, I decided to let everyone know that the school won't let me transfer because the credits are screwed up. I'll have to wait until the end of this year to do it, and I don't know if I want to switch schools JUST for my senior year, so we'll see.

It should work. I just transfered today. My old school had regular schedule and the new one has block. This term is all easy classes, next term is all hard classes. You have to finish the second half of the required classes, making fourth term hell. It should still work though!

Drop me a PM anytime, about anything!
I would love to talk to you!
