A question about taking a semester off.. - August 22nd 2009, 10:56 PM

Hello!

I finished my first year of college, I didnt do to well. Now I have a car payment and insurance I MUST pay which means I am working full time, I dont have time to go to school full time either, so right now I am just working and I wont to go back to my University next year. I have a question or two..

1. Do I have to re apply and be accepted again for the spring semester?
2. Because of how bad my grades were will they not admit me for spring?

Im really confused.

PS: My grades were horrible I believe, they even sent me a letter saying I was ineligible for financial aid..

1. Most universities require reapplying .... although I'd check with your academic adviser about that.

2. Again, check with your adviser. They're there to answer such questions. Or call the school administrations office.

I hope everything works out!

You can lose yourself. Everything. All boundaries. All time.

And just when the sweet confusion is so intense you think you're gonna die... you kind of do.

Leaving you alone in your separate body, but the one you love is still there.

That's a miracle.

You can go to heaven and come back alive. You can go back anytime you want with the one you love.

I believe that Lily is right. But, talk to a counselor about it and see what can be worked out. They might also help you make a plan for the semester that you do join up.

But, if it's a Community college that you are going to I don't think you have to reapply as long as you are in the system and have a student I.D but when it comes to registering for classes you have to be in good standing. (I don't think you are at community college but I thought I would say that just in case )

Really, the best thing to do is talk to a counselor or administrator about the whole process anyways because they will be able to give you the best help and what not. And, I would suggest taking care of it early only because you don't want to get caught in the rush of high school kids applying for college.

Best of luck.
