Self-Introduction Speech - August 24th 2009, 12:09 AM

I'm doing a self-introduction speech in Public Speaking and we have to describe our personalities in one word. The problem is that I don't know what that one word is. Let me describe my personality a little bit:

I like to laugh. I notice the funny things in life and don't take life very seriously.

I thought that I could use "funny", but that would sort of imply that people find me funny. I've already done my speech using the word "funny", and a friend told me that funny doesn't really match what I'm talking about. So maybe there's a better word out there that I don't know so it would take less time to change a few things on my speech.

I'd appreciate the help.

I would vote for carefree. Others: easy-going, optimistic, lighthearted, worry free. Good luck with the speech!

All right thanks everyone.

I used dictionary and synonyms, but I thought that someone might know a better word because I just couldn't find the right word that I wanted to use, that's why I came on here to ask.

Thanks again. I don't need anymore help on the speech. I'm done pretty much
