Interview tomorrow... - August 24th 2009, 02:27 AM

I have an interview at BU tomorrow. I really really need to ace this interview. This is the only place I am applying for the bsmd program. I have the work time, ACT, GPA (meh). It's super competitive but I have shot. Then why I am so nervous? agh I have been preparing, but I need to avoid all nihilist answers and give the 'unique' and 'positive' answers. oh well

Good luck on the interview! It's okay to be nervous. Most people get nervous, so keep that in mind. Just remember to be yourself when answering questions rather than trying to give the interviewer answers you think they want to hear. Honesty is the best policy after all. You're preparing for it, which some don't do so kudos! You seem like you have it down, so again good luck. You'll do great!

You can lose yourself. Everything. All boundaries. All time.

And just when the sweet confusion is so intense you think you're gonna die... you kind of do.

Leaving you alone in your separate body, but the one you love is still there.

That's a miracle.

You can go to heaven and come back alive. You can go back anytime you want with the one you love.

I took a PD class on summer and it talked about how to do good in an interview.
Your answers can not just be a "yes" or "no" try to make it at least 20 seconds long.
A good strong hand shake is good too.
I'm sure you will do good in it, just don't get nervous in the interview and get there 15 or 2 mins before.
Good luck!

It's completely normal to be nervous, Kyle! Sometimes, nerves and stress actually make us more determined to do good, so it's not all bad. [:

I hope everything goes/went well at the interview. I'm sure you'll be fine. =]

It went well, I suppose. I showed the interviewer the demo cd we sent to Skyline (and signed with ), he was really impressed I guessed because he asked to keep it. We talked about 'Thus Spoke Zarathustra', a philosophy book that I read because he teaches philosophy and it was fun. We also talked about internship at the hospital so I think everything went well! Very few questions, I was surprised that it was more of a chat than an interview.
