Tommorow's My First Day of High School - August 24th 2009, 04:41 PM

I pretty excited and nervous at the same time. The school's pretty big and I think it'll be pretty hard to find my classes Does anyone have tips for highschool? Where should I go? Will I look stupid if I stand in front of one of the school buildings waiting for school to start? or should I go looking for my friends from middle school? i don't know what to do on the first day and I hope it won't be awkward.

Oh boyy, the first day of high school. I can understand the nervousness/excitement... Even though I'm done high school haha

Really, it may be a good idea to find your middle school friends, at least for the first bit. Get yourselves orientated and knowing the school a bit better. Just keep in mind that you should be open to new friends, high school will present to you a whole new world of oppertunities friends wise, and in many other areas. You'll probably end up meeting new people in your classes, of all places.

No, you won't look stupid if you stand outside the schol building. You'll be nervous, and perhaps confused, it's what freshmen do! Not a big deal at all. If you ever need any help finding things or with anything probably the main office or guidence people will be able to help you out with that, just ask!

Good luck with your first day, just be confident and don't let it intimidate you. You'll do great! If you ever have anymore questions or need anything, don't be shy to PM me

Take care,

Just do what you want. Don't come to school with like a whole new style or anything. Unless you intent on carrying that style out. Lol.

For your classes, make sure you do NOT fail them. Because you will honestly have to make them up in order to graduate. This isn't middle school where you can get by with little work.

Really? High school isn't about parties, and you'll find that people really aren't that mature.

Geek? Nerd? More like intellectual badass.

Oh! Well hopefully you'll really like it! (:
Finding classes shouldn't be tooo hard, and they are usually pretty nice if you are late, the first week anyways. After that, you should be used to it.
I would definitely go and find some of your friends from middle school! That way you won't feel so alone, and you can talk to them about your summer, or see if you have classes. I'm sure you'll make a lot of new friends, and a lot of people you won't be too fond of. Everyone has those people.
But I hope you like it! (:

When you can't find your way home,
and when life gets too hard to face on your own.
I will stand as a light through the darkness unknown,
I will walk with you, so you're never alone.
