Question stuck with art evaulation :/ - January 29th 2009, 01:30 PM

for my art project, i need to write an evaulation of some of my artwork. i have to comment on the colours and what it causes, what the background and models suggest and generally why it portrays love, as that is the main theme of the work. but i am completely stuck. i have no idea why things are the way they are. if anyone can help me, suggest some ideas, ect, i'd be really grateful.

oh, and i need to name/title each piece, so any suggestions would help too.

here are the pictures that i need to evaulate:

i know they aren't very good, and i am not uploading them here for people to tell me they are no good, so please refrain yourself from posting 'THEY ARE CRAP', ect. Thanks. xxx

Photo #1 Title: Grime
-The black and white colors tell me that there is a chill in the air, it's cold, and obviously at a time at night when others should be asleep. I titled it Grime because it relates to the colors used in the picture, the blurry, messed photograph. Two people at this time of night might not be too pure in heart as well, but bad or good, they relate as companions in the night.

Photo #2 Title: Amber Of Adolescence
-When I think of fall, I know that it's a season of saying goodbye. The love you discover when you are young changes you, and matures you. You say goodbye to childhood and either endure a relationship that always teaches you a lesson in the end. The colors show innocence, and that ignorance of pain is bliss... Autumn is ignorance, but then winter comes, and the cold pain of separation or betrayal shows itself.

Photo #3 Title: Lovers Point
-This piece just looks like one of those places that people got to get away. It's the grotto of love, where couples come to discover each other, to passionate love someone without the fear of being found out. The dark figures show that you can be comfortable and safe from the eyes of others. The shores show an endlessly of security and comfort.

I hope I helped. Message me if something is wrong. I enjoy this kind of thing.
