6th Form - February 8th 2010, 10:16 PM

So, I need to pick my 6th form options soon.
Basically, I have the choice of my school or another one, I'll show you the pro's and con's.
I have no idea which one to go to or how I'm going to decide

My School:
-I know the teachers&school and they know me
-The bus is free&goes from my village
-There's more choice of subjects
-They have slightly better results (although this is largely due to the calibre of the students)
-It's a kinda half new start as it merges with another school and lots of people join from many different schools.
-Not a totally new start
-It's an hour+ bus journey each way which can seem very long
-It's bigger
-I haven't been happy there for the past 5 years.

New School:
-It's a totally new start
-It's much smaller
-It's a lot nearer to my house
-It has I science syllabus which I feel I would be more interested in
-There's no bus from my village
-There's less subject choice [although I still have 4 subjects ]
-I don't know it&they don't know me

I'm planning on doing Physics, Biology and Product Design.
I have applied to the new school with those three subjects and RS.

I'm also planning on applying to my school but don't know whether to go for art, graphics, photography or RS for my 4th subject although thinking probably photography or RS...

If I went to the new school they have a photography club.

Basically I have no idea what to do or how to decide, either way.
If anyone has any advice on school/subjects/how to decide it would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks :]

Personally I would of said go to your current school 6th form, it'll be a completely different atmosphere to what it is at the moment, and you'll get treated as an adult. And as you said, free bus (y)
The only other thing I can really thing of is, are you sure you want to do physics? D= It's horrible, horrible I tell you!!!

I went to my old school. Despite not being 100% happy there in the lower years, I was very happy as a sixth former. A lot changes during that time, and friendship groups merge so much easier.

However, if you think you still won't be happy at your current school. Then go to the closer one.

I take it that both of them offer the courses you want? That is the most important thing
