Dual Enrollment - March 20th 2010, 07:17 PM

I'm part of a dual enrollment program in which I am able to take college courses in addition to my regular high school work load. For the most part it's a great deal, and the more challenging course work keeps me from being bored. But it is terrible for one reason: I'm being hit with Senioritis and the Freshman Fifteen at the same time.

Anyway, I guess I'm just posting this to see if anyone else is in a similar program and wants to either rant about or compliment it?

and if you should hear the cries and calls
through the thinnest of the walls
don't you get yourself so blue
it's just the sound of me getting over you

Re: Dual Enrollment - March 21st 2010, 05:48 AM

I had done that one year ago (I was a senior in high school then). The course that I ended up taking was easy enough (Eco. Biology and Astro.) as to not interfering my high school work and my extracurricular. I didn't ended up having senioritis though, since AP is constantly putting me on edge.

It's all about finding a balance and having a will to stick through what you begin, really.

To laugh often and much; To win the respect of intelligent people and the affection of children; To earn the approbation of honest critics and endure the betrayal of false friends; To appreciate beauty; To find the best in others; To give of one's self; To leave the world a bit better...; To know even one life has breathed easier because you have lived - This is to have succeeded. - Ralph Waldo Emerson
