Excel formula help - April 29th 2010, 01:37 AM

Someone recently made a tracker at work to help the people in the front lanes (cashiers) keep track of how many sales they make. It's not for commission purposes, but just to see who is performing and who seems to need help in improving.

What I wanted to do was make it fair for everybody. Not everyone works the same amount of days, so some may only work 3 days a week and so forth. As it is right now everyone is set that they're working 4 days a week.

I offered to take this home and work on fixing it for everyone (since the original person who made it got fired) and I'm technically the front end leader there.

Here's a link to the image:

I thought all I'd have to do is take the average row and change each column to something like =D#/# of days they work

But that makes an error for the rank column then and I wanted to see if anybody could help me work this out.

Could you go into a bit more detail about what each row is about? that might help me be able to answer your question

“You are braver than you believe,
stronger than you seem,
and smarter than you think.”
