Hey! I start medical school in.... 2 weeks! I will reply to this better when I am ahem, sober. But although your GCSEs are not great in terms of the general standard of GCSEs most medical applicants have, it won't completely rule you out you jsut need to be clever about where you apply to and concentrate on doing v well in your A levels. You got good grades in science, maths and english and they are the most important ones!

It's fine to have one.
It's fine to be proud of it.
But please don't whip it out in public and start waving it around.
And PLEASE don't try and shove it down my throat.

They will always look at Science, Math, and English in medical school. If you have done various math subjects such as Algebra that'd be even better I'm sure. I also think they'd LOVE for a future applicant to have various sciences like health, etc..

heres a list of GCSE requirements for different medical schools. http://www.thestudentroom.co.uk/wiki...E_Requirements your results don't mean you can't go to medical school so don't panic.. but it may restrict where you can apply to.

..and our dreams will break the boundaries of our fears..
