Need some advice - September 7th 2010, 02:57 AM

I'm in Grade 12 at the moment. I have English, Advanced Functions, French, and Investments and Finance this semester. I've also joined two clubs (Anti-Bullying Club and the Math Club). I also have orchestra rehearsals coming Wednesdays and when semester two starts, morning practices will happen too. Adding on top of that, I have math tutor tuesday evenings, cadets every Thursday evenings, and piano lessons tuesdays and wednesdays alternating.

I'm thinking of quitting piano, not because I hate it, I think it's just too time consuming with everything that's going on. As long as I can play piano, I don't really care about getting my gr.10 piano certificate or something like that. I really want to focus on school more because since you're in grade 12, you need to apply for university and I want to apply to a really good business program. I'm trying my best to cope with everything but there's just too much pressure. Any advice? thanks!

I am in 12th grade to and have an insanely packed schedule too
What REALLY helps me a ton is i went out and bought a schedule book (a planner--whatever u wanna call it) and i got one that works well for me (you need one that you think will work well for you) and I carry it around with me and i cross off things once im done with them
it sounds like its not that much but it seriously helped me because instead of having to try to remember everything i can just look in there. it makes me feel like everything is in order and it keeps my mind clear so that i can stay sane

also make sure you try to get enough sleep.
lack of sleep makes everything worse.

Thanks for your feedback! I think I do need one since the school agendas are too small to fit everything in.
