Words of Inspiration for the New School Year -

Hey guys! I received an e-mail from my university president and felt it was important to share them with you. The credit goes to Nido Qubein, world-renowned speaker and president of High Point University. Although this is geared toward HPU students, the message is universal for anyone in school. Here it is:
Here it is . . . The start of another academic year! Here we are . . . Ready to accept the challenge of ensuring an extraordinary university for everyone. Here you are . . . Committed and focused to move onwards with faith and courage. College is what you choose to make it. Choose well. It’s never our circumstances that determine what we do in life; it’s our choices. Life is filled with splendid serendipities. If we look for them. To be great, walk hand in hand and side by side with great people. HPU is the place to be. You’re here. We’re glad. The future is bright. Seize the moment. Keep reaching to the stars! I hope this has some meaning for you and helps you keep your school-going (and possibly professional) goals in sight. Be strong, be encouraged. This school year is a chance to do some amazing things, meet amazing people, and push ourselves to new heights.
