Beowulf Essay Intro and Conclusion -

I have 2 questions about the same paper. This essay is about Beowulf and its like a college essay. The rough draft is due tomorrow.
First, is the introduction, which I'm horrible at. It has to include the following: A broad statement of British literature A narrow statement of Anglo- Saxon literature A summary of Beowulf A describion of Beowulf The thesis which as to be 2-3 sentences with the following characteristics: Strong Responsible Ethical Brave The conclusion has to include the following: Thesis- using different words A summary of the the character Beowulf A zinger Anyone have any ideas please? |

So you're asking people on TH to do your essay draft for you? I haven't read Beowulf so I cannot help in that but if you post some ideas you already have, you can get better critiques. Perhaps other users will do your draft for you but even if I read Beowulf, I wouldn't help you at all until you provide some of your own attempts.
I can rip you off, and steal all your cash, suckerpunch you in the face, stand back and laugh. Leave you stranded as fast as a heart-attack.

If you wrote the main part, would you give some attempts of the intro and conclusion?

The thing is, english classes are to learn how to write. It's okay if you cannot write the perfect intro and conclusion, whats important is that you try and give a good effort. Then take the criticism you get and learn from your mistakes.

Your introduction and conclusion should mirror each other almost. Meaning what you start out with should also end the way it started.
For instance if my introduction was : Beowulf is a character of many attributes. He is strong because of his ..... Then the conclusion should go along the lines of: Beowulf is a defining character of his time because.... than summarizes your thesis Don't ask what the world needs. Ask what makes you come alive and go do it. Because what the world needs is people who have come alive.  |
