How to manage two jobs - September 6th 2011, 02:54 PM

I am currently working at a hospital where I get around 20 hours a week. I want to apply as a hostess at a restaurant to earn more money for University next year. My boyfriend moved to University yesterday which is three hours away from where I live. We want to try and visit each other every two weeks. But with two jobs how can I manage this? Is there a way I can set up my schedule with my boss that will allow me to do this if I get the job at the restaurant?

This is something you would have to discuss with your boss at interview. Depending on how flexible the hours are, you may be able to sort something out.
