How to get into counselling/therapy? -
November 6th 2011, 04:13 PM
My... ideas for my future are beginning to change. I'm asking this not because I've decided on anything but because I'm curious as to whether or not it's possible now.
I took Englishes, media and maths at As level because I wanted to go into creative writing. If I want to go into counselling, what A levels or whatever do you need for uni? I ask because I know an adult who trained as a counselor after dropping out of school and doing hairdressing, so I'm curious. Because I didn't take anything like psychology or whatever, is the uni option out? Are there any options to get training later on in life? |
