throughout my 1st half of high school. I've been experiencing depression in grades 9 and 10 and now in grade 11, I am trying to get better, but I'm not 100% happy. I am one hell of a hard-working student (all my teachers appreciate that), but I also get stressed out super-easily, and this brings down my average. I am still very proud of myself for putting a great amount of effort while still being able to cope with depression. Now I have a B average in 11th grade. It could've been higher only if I wasn't so stressed out and only if I hadn't been dealing with depression. However would this prevent me from going to very good colleges? I feel like I definitely have the effor tand potential to go to a top university. Only things that are stopping me are stress and depression...

Not at all. You might not get into a top school right off, but you can go to a respectable smaller school, prove yourself, and transfer into a top school. A B-average is not bad at all, if you kill on the SATs you'll be fine.

Remember that just because it's one an Ivy League School doesn't mean it's not a good one. There are a lot of fantastic small state schools where you can receive an amazing education, and who knows you might find you like the smaller schools better. Smaller schools have the advantage of smaller class sizes, so the professors can get more personal with you and are there to make sure you succeed.

That's a very smart hypothesis. I'll keep it in mind
