So first semester didn't go to hot... -

I"m still waiting on one of my classes but as of right now I have a 1.8 gpa........NOT what i intended. I was doing fine in the begining of the year but I started getting sick and having a lot of problems at home. And now i'm just devastated. I don't know what to do. I'm going to retake the class (a full brick and border and not hybrid which could explain why...) But i need to get organized on top of anything else. For the past few months it seems like i have control of NOTHING in my life and this bothers me mentally. Can i get any help please! I knew college was hard but this is out of control for me.

Don't be discouraged. It can get easier. My first semester, I dropped all but one of my classes. Keep your head up

Don't let yourself get discouraged! Figure out if there's anything that you need to change about your study habits, participation in class, etc. If there is, change them. If there isn't, then just look at next semester as a chance to start over! I'm sure you'll rock it!

Hey, take care of yourself first, don't beat yourself up for this semester! :]
Take things one step at a time and focus on one class at a time. Trying to get caught up in three or more classes at once is inefficient and overwhelming to process. Make a checklist of things that tripped you up in one class and go over those things. Plus, this is one semester. You have many more to compensate for it. You got this. Most of all though, if you're on a semester break, take care of yourself. Reorganize your living space, file and set up binders for each class, relax. Academics will just be a devastating whir otherwise. Best of luck!
