Au Pair? -

Hi
 I am thinking of doing Au Pair in France during the summer so that I can practice my French (Au Pair is a program where you stay with a host family doing household chores, taking care of kids, etc. in exchange for food and residence) Has anybody done this and knows of a legit website? I'm concerned whether it's safe or not |

I haven't done this personally, but my cousin stayed there for a year, with 3 different families. She absolutely loved her experience there, and she actually went again last summer, just to visit the families. It's definitely safe. The families are background-checked and everything before you go stay with them. I know she went through a different program, but if you'd like, I can ask her about Au Pair and see if she knows anything.
