Beauty School -

I'm super excited because I finally realized that I think I should go to beauty school to become a nail technician. I've always wanted to have a job to show off my creativity but my parents were telling me that I had to get a job that would pay well, which most creative jobs pay alright but not too well. Well today I ran the idea by my parents and they understand and are happy that I'm happy to do it. I'll be going to the local beauty academy and I'm just so super happy.

Good for you. In university, I've encountered countless students who were coerced into a field of study via their parents wishes and desires, and are tremendously unhappy as a result. Don't fall into that trap. Do what you feel is best for you, regardless of what others may think or say.
I am studying Law. While many people assume that my parents forced me into this field, it is in fact the opposite. I love it and I am skilled in the area. I study it because of these reasons. Do the same for yourself and ignore the people who have some smart-ass comment about it. SUP BRO.
