Re: year 12 advice -

Hey there,
I'm in year 12 now and I started in September. It's a big step. If you thought year 11 was a lot of work, chances are you'll be unpleasantly surprised at how much more It's not really a bad thing though, it's enjoyable and people seem to mature a bit when they go into year 12, that's from personal experience anyway. The advice I'd give you is to make sure you're organized first. Get folders for each of your subjects and make sure you have file dividers and note paper. The more organized you are, the easier revision will be when you need it. You'll get a lot of material to revise!Work hard as well. If you slack then you'll fall behind and you can't really afford to. It's not really all that bad once you get into the routine of doing a lot of work and committing yourself to it, but the change from year 11 to year 12 is a big step, and it's the adjusting that takes the time. Good luck! Hollie. EDIT: This is assuming you're from the UK by the way. I'm not sure about how other year systems work.

I would also invest in a planner. Its a little notebook with a calendar in it and you can write down all your assignments from each day. My school gives us one because its a really efficient way to stay organized. I wouldn't remember to do a lot of my homework if I didn't have mine
