University of Essex!

I was just informed that I will be attending the University of Essex for an exchange next year!

I don't know much about the school at all, so I was wondering if you guys could help me out a bit!

Well I live in essex. Do you know which part of Essex you will be in ? I know theres a university in Southend and I think there is one in another part of essex too. They have a website if you just type in 'university of essex' on google it should come up with information about the university ect. I know they've recently built student accomodation ect. But as for the university itsself I don't really know much about it.

I think the main campus is in Colchester

Can you give me some specifics about Essex itself? What are some good places to check out?

I'm not really sure what places are good in Cholchester as I've never exactly been to Cholchester other than when I was about 9 years old and that was to visit a castle

As for Essex itself its an interesting place thats for sure, part of it is by the sea, and its famous. Good places to hang out tend to vary from town to town. Cholchester castle might be worth a look around I remember it being interesting when I went there.

Yeah! I'm really excited I'm just trying to figure out which places in England I should travel to while I'm there!

imo you're better off visiting London for some better sights that's if you haven't been there before.

I live in Essex and while It's an ok place it doesn't really have anything that'll keep you waiting to see more. Though, the shopping centres are great
