I want to work with children. -

I've decided, I want to work with toddlers (1-2 year olds) I love them. They're so innocent and they aren't nasty at all. I've been babysitting my mum's friend one year old a lot lately and I love her so much.
I'm just scared I'll do something stupid :/ I'm scared I won't watching them all the time and one will fall over and hurt themselves :|
Georgia (the girl I've been babysitting) has luckily never hurt herself when I've been taking care of her. One baby I can handle and take care of, I'm just scared of having more than one.

Nice ones are fantastic, but if you know that you still love them when they're screaming in your face, biting you and making you gag with their nappies then you're on the right track!!!

It's great that you want to work with kids! I do and it's such a rewarding thing. Don't be worried about one getting hurt though. Just take a few minutes right now to think about good ways to handle different situations. Make a list of all the things that you know you'll be able to do if you run into a sticky situation. Knowing how to handle something before it comes up will help you to feel more at ease if you ever do need to put your solutions to practice. If you have any specific situations that you aren't sure how to deal with, feel free to shoot me a message and we'll brainstorm!

I work in a pre-school - its good most of the time. I don't want to put you off or anything but it's not just playing with the kids ect - theres so much paperwork. But that being said - it is good fun - you do get to play with the kids too. Telling them off is super hard though.
