Question Alternatives for squats and power cleans? - April 28th 2011, 06:08 PM

Hi! I was wondering if anyone here knows any alternative exercises for squats and power cleans. This winter I hurt my back during wrestling season, and now that off-season football lifting has begun I find that both squats and power cleans are very uncomfortable. I was cleared after injuring my back, but now I don't want to re-injure myself by over working my back, because sometimes when doing squats it feels like my back will collapse at any second. So does anyone know any exercises that are similar/work the same muscles but won't put as much strain on my back?
