Who Is artistic here in any way, shape or form?

That means art like painting, drawing, sculpting etc, musical, acting etc...

And do you have a mental health issue/s, and if so what is it?

I know this may seem non related to mental health but I have just noticed that a lot a of artists, GOOD artists suffer from mental heath problems, so I was just wondering what is the take on everbody else?

Me? I suffer depression, anxiety and an eating disorder and I am musical (I play saxophone, guitar, bass, drums, mandolin, clarinet)

I think in all reality the reason why us mentally ill have these artistic things with us (I'm bipolar and writing is my big thing), is because we see the world a bit differnetly and we want to protray it to people who don't see the world in our eyes. If that makes any sense. But then again. It's only my theory

I'm learning piano because a part of me has pretty much my whole life.

But the only thing I'm remotely good at is poetry. And I don't mean teen angst poetry. I mean poetry I think over and write carefully.

Used to suffer from depression and an EXTREME introvert (INTJ). I wouldn't call myself an artist per se but I do tend to see art in odd things. Whenever anyone asks my opinion on something I treat it as a photograph TBH.

I write as well, and also draw (both traditionally and on a tablet) and paint. I have also played music (piano and trumpet) but gave it up a few years ago because of my schedule.

I agree that most people with mental illnesses are usually quite artistic. I think it has something to do with the fact most of them like to show people how they feel in different ways so they create something to express themselves

Welll, when you roleplay, and either play the part of a character engaging in an imaginary setting, or whether it's you weaving the imaginary setting, it's all a form of artistic expression.

Interesting way of putting it, I never thought about it that way before - it's not unlike the way a writer weaves a story by essentially roleplaying it's charactors and defining it's setting. Very interesting way of putting it.

I can sing a bit, but not infront of people I don't know.
I was learning guitar, but I got caught up in drawing so gave it up.

i write fiction a lot, and (usually raw) poetry. i don't draw exactly, but i doodle, and i also sing, plus i'm hard to stop once i've gotten my hands on a camera. though it's true that i do a lot of these things more when i'm suffering from a mood swing or something has upset me, i don't have any mental health issues to my knowledge, and i don't feel that they make me more gifted. just more creative.

I Don't know if something is wrong...I might do I know...Probally do ha-ha, I can be very emotional however because I bottle up a lot. I used to suffer from an Bulimia.

Because I was unable to express my emotions I began writing stories I am currently writing about an arranged marriage,I like drawing morden art and expressing myself and I want to show the world.

However every time I feel like I want to I feel like something his holding me back...

I'm starting Ballroom dance classes because A lot of kids in my school the say they do breakdance/Streetdance I don't like it that much.
