Need ideas -

So, I paint, oilpastels, and like to build stuff. I built a hanging bird bath and bird feeder. But... I want something to do. Something creative. My mom said what about buying old hubcaps and painting them with weird designs. To be honest, I want something I can sell. I love art and I figure why not make money off something that I love, ya know? So... does anyone have weird ideas of things I could do? Maybe lamp shades? Somethinggggg? Something different. Any idea would be awesome, no matter how crazy or weird you think it is.I'll probabaly love it.

How about painting cookie jars?
Or a set of small paintings that when put together, they form one big picture, but when on its own, it is still a picture? Or decorating mirrors with mixed media? If you're selling to the general public, I think these things could sell. Weird and wacky has more of a niche market. However, don't let that stop you if it's something that you really love. I really like your lamp shade idea. Good luck with your creative pursuits!

Glass painting is always cool. I know its not quite oil painting but still.
Generally inspiration just comes. Go for a walk and to a few galleries. People watching and stuff
